Why I Became a Physician Assistant

The accelerated curriculum and the opportunity to practice medicine as part of a patient’s healthcare team in a shared decision-making model is what ultimately drew me to pursue a career as a PA. I enjoy being able to connect with and educate patients, as well as be an advocate for their care.
