Seven Midwest Radiology Physicians Named 2024 Rising Stars by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine
Midwest Radiology congratulates the following physicians for being named 2024 Top Doctors Rising Stars by Mpls.St.Paul magazine—recognizing exceptional physicians who share a drive to innovate and solve complex issues for their patients and improve the health of their communities. The Top Doctors list is compiled after asking local physicians to nominate one or more doctors (excluding themselves) who they would go to if they or a loved one were seeking medical care.
Dr. Andrew Bunney is part of our Vascular and Interventional Radiology team. Dr. Bunney was certified by the American Board of Radiology after attending Wayne State University School of Medicine and completing a fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Jason Carroll is part of the Neurointerventional Surgery team. Dr. Carroll was certified by the American Board of Radiology after completing a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at Columbia University Medical Center. He previously was a fellow in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Pegah Entezari is a member of our breast imaging team. She earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Oregon Health and Science University, and obtained certification from the American Board of Radiology following a fellowship in breast imaging at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Cory Lewis is part of our body/oncology and breast imaging teams. Dr. Lewis earned his DO at Des Moines University and interned at Ohio University, where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology. He was a fellow in body imaging at University of Washington.
Dr. Kevin Nguyen is part of our Vascular and Interventional Radiology team. Dr. Nguyen was certified by the American Board of Radiology after completing a fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Dr. Brendan O’Shea is part of our Vascular and Interventional Radiology team. Dr. O'Shea attended the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He was a resident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also completed a fellowship - and then completed a second fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jacob Waxman is part of our Body Radiology and Oncology Radiology teams. Dr. Waxman attended medical school at University of Kansas School of Medicine and interned at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. He completed a residency and a fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
